Craig's journey in the jewelry industry began at a young age, working at his family's jewelry store. His passion for gemology led him to pursue formal education at the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, CA. There, he not only honed his skills but also embarked on a teaching career as an Instructor of Gemology. With his dedication and expertise, he achieved the prestigious titles of GIA Graduate Gemologist and AGS Certified Gemologist.

In a serendipitous twist, Craig's path intersected with renowned treasure hunter Mel Fisher, who had made the remarkable discovery of the Spanish shipwreck, Nuestra Señora de Atocha. Inspired by Mel's fascinating finds, Craig was captivated, and a conversation with Mel paved the way for him to join the team of treasure hunters in Key West. In time, he assumed the role of Exhibition Director and crafted the "Treasures of the Atocha" exhibit, which embarked on an incredible journey to 85 cities across North America. The grand finale of the exhibit was held at Lyle Husar Designs in 1998.

While immersed in this exciting endeavor, Craig realized it was time to return to his family's jewelry business. Since then, he has been at the helm of the company, overseeing three significant expansions and now proudly owning Craig Husar Fine Diamonds.

Throughout his journey, Craig holds his family dear to his heart. He cherishes his relationship with his wife Danielle, their children Becca, Aidan, and Nadia, as well as their beloved four-legged companion Oliver. With a deep appreciation for both the jewelry world and his loved ones, Craig Husar embraces the diverse facets of his life with gratitude and enthusiasm.

Christine Husar-Anderson is a seasoned professional with nearly three decades of experience in the jewelry industry. She began her journey in 1990 and currently holds the esteemed position of Vice President and Operations Manager. As a second-generation member of the Husar family, Christine takes immense pride in continuing the family legacy. Christine pursued her education at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin - Waukesha, where she majored in business and minored in art, cultivating a diverse skill set. Her passion for gemstones led her to further enhance her knowledge through coursework at the Gemological Institute of America, solidifying her expertise.

Beyond her professional achievements, Christine finds joy in her personal life. She is happily married and blessed with two sons, Alex and Max, a stepdaughter named Crissy, and three beloved grandkids, Mason, Brycen, and Pierson. She indulges in various creative pursuits such as crafting, gardening, and pastel drawing in her leisure time. She also finds solace in activities like boating and hiking, embracing the wonders of nature. Regarding vacations, Florida holds a special place in her heart.

Lyle and Alice Husar are the visionary founders of the esteemed Husar family jewelry business. Following Lyle's honorable service in the National Guard, he pursued his passion for horology. He enrolled at Gem City College in Quincy, IL, where he dedicated himself to becoming a Certified Master Watchmaker. During this time, Lyle and Alice's paths intertwined, and in 1967, they embarked on their lifelong journey together, exchanging vows and beginning their entrepreneurial endeavors.

With a combined investment of $5,000 from their hard-earned savings, Lyle and Alice opened the doors to Husar's Tic-Tok Shop. Their initial store space measured a modest 400 square feet, which they carefully filled with an exquisite collection of watches and clocks. Lyle, known for his distinctive style and personality, made a lasting impression by adorning his signature lederhosen, engaging customers, and providing impeccable timepiece services. Meanwhile, Alice embraced her role as both a salesperson and the Official Bookkeeper, skillfully managing the financial aspects of the business for over four decades.

Throughout the years, Lyle and Alice's unwavering dedication and entrepreneurial spirit laid a solid foundation for their family jewelry business to thrive and flourish.
